Raster Images

Usually in the form of ".jpg"  ".gif" ".png" ".tiff" File Extensions.

Raster images are made up of pixels of colour.  When these images are used for artwork the print quality can be compromised. If the image is not 300 DPI and set to the size that the final print will be or larger, then the artwork is of poor quality and usually cannot be used.  When we are supplied with poor quality artwork we do offer a redrawing service that starts from £20.  We will advise you before hand if we need to redraw any of your logos.

Vector Images

Usually in the form of ".AI" ".EPS" ".PDF" File Extensions.

A vector image is made up from lines and points created through mathematical angles and set defined colours.  Artwork in this format can be used for printing at any size imaginable without any degradation of print quality.  Generally this format of artwork is what we require for printing your products.
