How do I make a custom icon for my USB Drive? 

When you insert your USB drive into your computer why not have that extra little bit of branding.

This is a great way to have your logo on your customers desktop for the time that your flash drive is plugged into your customers computer.

There are several ways this can be achieved.  If you don't mind having white area on your icon or you don't mind it being a perfect square on your desktop then you can use one of the many icon creators on the internet.  We have a piece of software here that imports your images into it and creates an icon from that.  There are several resolutions that you can create an Icon at. 

A "Favicon" is the logo that you can see at the top of this page in front of the http://www.dx2promotions.com/ 

This image is generally set to 16 x16 pixels and is not what we use for the desktop Icon.  The desktop icon is created in a 32 x 32 pixel resolution using software that we have here on site.  You are quite welcome to send in your own desktop icons to use on your memory sticks.
